Wow, that is cheap, we went through Mixonic(also in CA), since they did smaller batches(less then 500) which was something a lot of sites wouldn't do. I have nothing bad to say about them, their customer service was great and quick to respond and answer the phone, and they were helpful, but definitely almost twice the cost!!! Ship time was about the same. I might have to use this one next time, thanks

Hey Isaac, we would totally be down to do something, check us out at www.myspace.com/theloups we can do acoustic sets, or we could bare bones it right down to 2 if we needed to. Lemme know how I could get a hold of you, or message us at myspace or email me at theloups@hotmail.com
Re: MySpace vs Website??

I was actually kinda happy to see this up here because we JUST had a discussion in our band about building an actual web page just so it would appear more "professional". Seems like myspace is just so full of crud and spam that people don't take it as seriously as they did a few years ago, maybe becuase the amount of music pages on myspace grows exponentially since anyone with a computer and a will to make noise can make a band page. And there is nothing wrong with that, all of us want our music to be heard. But I have to agree being in a band that currently doesn't have a web page, a myspace account has been great to get the word out on net, and it is easy to update, another place that seems to be a myspace but really just for bands is reverbnation.com it's pretty cool, anyone that hasn't been there should check it out. I have a feeling though we are going to bite the bullet and get an actual web page, but for now its just MYSPACE...lol
Re: New Member Introduction - Who are you?

Hi all I'm Justin from The Loups, we've played a few shows with the Cambiata, Daro, KidNapKin, Kesera, Radiation Year, Loverless and just finished our first EP "Holding Hands with the Crooked Man" recorded by Micah Davis at The Halo. Most of it can be heard at www.myspace.com/theloups and we should be getting it into Bull Moose in the next couple weeks. Found this forum through myspace and really think its going to be a much tighter nit network then myspace, and joined to hopefully network with other bands, set shows up, and get some contacts to help better promote the release of this EP. Any help and direction is great, any shows that need a band please message us, we're pretty down to play all the time, just love to play our music. Nice to meet you all

"The Locals", hosted by Isaac, Sunday mornings on WMPG, 10:30 to noon, is always looking for new submissions from local bands/musicians...generally I broadcast pre-recorded "live " venue or (recorded) studio performances (once I have previewed material quality , FCC violations, etc..) ...on occasion , I will bring on a "live" guest to perform if musician is a sole performer w/ one acoustic guitar for example. I can be reached via WMPG. Thanks !-tux123
