Hey Adam,
Tom Acousti here.
The Nashville Partners are Paschall Music Publishing as well as a bunch of other producers and players that I work with when needed… 7 years down there for me.
In NYC – John Hanti at iiwii. The place is just finishing incredible renovations with a great surround sound room as well as still having the amazing big spaces and old school vibe.
Things for me are moving toward doing almost all in-house stuff but I would love to have one or 2 things to produce for others still at any given time.
The bit about deals for people was more about my interns and new engineers I trained – they are looking for that kind of thing. We also have a world class Piano to record on now.
In Maine, I have 48 tks of Pro Tools and a portable situation as well as a small studio space but still would rather cut with Jon or in Nashville at Sound Emporium or like that and finish here - that is the kind of project I’d like next.
The people I know well and work in Nashville are doing some Americana top-notch. If someone is looking for that vibe, I can really help… especially with putting it all together with top players in that category and such.
The last record we cut there had Brad Pemberton and Billy Mercer (Cardinals) Dan Dougmoore (James Taylor) and Jason Lehning (Just engineered Ben Folds latest) all working on it.
OK, enough out of me for now.
By for now,
Tom Acousti
