Thanks fellas for throwing this around. I will be attending the event so we can talk about this more then. I welcome your opinions. My thoughts simply came from knowing that those that are already involved in PMF or thinking about it will be on this site and having a members page would be not only a good reference for anyone looking to network but may also be a good selling point on the depth of the organization. I was discussing this with a few members of the PMF the other day and thought I'd bring it up. It would be great to have a networking page that showed members and how they are involved in the scene so that if someone is looking for services that they perform they can reach out to that person. Bands looking for other bands for shows. Promoters looking for groups, bands looking for services (recording, promotions, management etc.). I think that would be sweet. What do you think?

I am personally in search for a good "alternative" vocal coach and I thought it would be great to get something set up through here so that Portland Musicians that are looking for services like this might be able to find some options. I have used vocal coaches in the past but were either too traditional (a.k.a. tried to make me sound like a choir boy) or to odd (opera). I am a vocalist in a rock group and need someone who is understanding of my goals for my sound. Any suggestions? Does something like this make sense for the Foundation? I'm sure I'm not the only one looking for something like this.

Are you looking for a party location for Halloween this year? LOKI is planning another "LOKI Bandwagon" event, this time we are going down to Mark's Showplace in Bedford, NH. The venue is under new booking management and this is there Grand reopening!! A ticket on the bus includes the ride down and back (about a 2hr. ride), admission into both the rock club and the strip club and "refreshments" on the bus and a $500 costume contest up for grabs! This is strictly a 21+ event and you must have valid ID. The show includes locals Civil Disturbance as well as NH's Tear Down The Sun and special guests.
