Hello all,
I've recently started a songwriting/recording project I'm calling "Song of the Day" which is pretty much as it sounds. Every day (or as close as possible) I'm recording a new song and posting it up on the web. As I'm recording older ones, newer ones are being written. Sounds exhausting. I can barely make sure I take a shower every day...
There are definitely days... but it's pretty invigorating too, like when someone comes out of a giant blizzard going "Man, that was bracing!"
So another week has gone by in the project, seven more songs recorded.
Sunday - Let Me Freeze
Monday - Adversary Beloved
Tuesday - Leave Me
Wednesday - Fighting Shadows
Thursday - Winter On the Hill
Friday - Space Between Us
Saturday - My Winter is Done
So far this has been great, beyond the occasional "umm... I don't want to get up and record" feelings a few mornings, I've managed to get down a few songs that hadn't been recorded, update a couple more, and even this morning recorded one fresh out of my head to see what it sounded like.
We'll see what another week brings.
