Hey,
Two instrumentalists and female singer looking for female bassist/vocalist and a drummer of any gender. Music likes are Portishead-ish anything. Send me an email at matthewbruceerickson@rock.com if you know of anyone who fits these bills. Thank you and good luck.

SAX PLAYER WANTED to join an instrumental band. We blend rock, blues, soul-funk, jazz, etc. into our original music and play of unique mix somewhat obscure tunes rather than the most recognized tunes by the bands we cover. We're looking for a team player who can attend once-a-week practices. We're not interested in a mercenary horn player or big egos. We welcome original tune ideas and your input as we create. Sense of humor required. Visit www.myspace.com/greenheadmusic for music samples and a list of some artists covered. Cheers!

I need a GUITARIST or KEYBOARDIST. That can get to work right away & LOVES to play. For DUO. Maybe add STAND-UP or electric bass. SING too if you like.
GOAL - I wanna get back out live & sing my guts out, beautiful & soulful Eva Cassidy stuff, blues-jazz, jazz-rock, rock-folk, covers and make stuff up, because life in a box sucks. Your poet and other performing friends should come sit in frequently. Bring your alternate project CD's and stuff to hawk, too.
VENUES -Jazz Breakfast, coffeehouse, people's houses, small receptions in Portland area.
REQUIRED - life, humor, chops, at least SOME weirdness.
MY EXPERIENCE - I sing and write melody and lyrics, have booked tons of gigs and sung everything from small public and private venues (Eva, JT, Billie) to function bands to blues(Rockland Blues Festival)to recording with Berklee musicians (www.dukkhasnemesis.com) to invading Bubba's as Robert Plant/Janis Joplin/AC-DC (who all had the same alien invading their high naso-laryngal range).
BACK TO EARTH - Coffeehouse stuff is more subdued, of course. Just know that you can find ways to get crazy even in that setting, without even letting people know you're getting crazy.
CONTACT ME - at dukkhasnemesis@gmail.com

Singer, skilled on keyboards/piano, somewhat skilled on guitar, looking to form a band. I love all different styles of music... rock, jazz, funk, hip hop. I have my own gear (mics, amps, mixer) I have been recording some of my own stuff but haven't been able to pursue what I really want to here in Biddeford, which is fronting a band as a vocalist. I have zero connections to any other musicians right now. Contact: djmd@gwi.net
Thanks.
