Hopefully, everybody's seen the Maine Folk Music site by now. It's run by Bob McKillop, a recording musician in his own right.
Consider this a catch-all thread for comments on the site.
Personally, I'm curious what people consider to be the definition of folk music. One of the first reviews you'll see when going to the site right now is on the new(ish) Evergreen album. Hey, that's bluegrass. Is bluegrass folk? Is every singer/songwriter folk?

Folk music - my definition is "I can't describe it, but I know it when I hear it!"
I guess that would mean that everyone has a different definition of what folk music is - no surprise there!
